Former school superintendent arrested on DWI charges

The former superintendent of the Greenport School District was arrested on DWI charges Friday night.
Police say 69-year-old Charles Kozora was determined to be intoxicated during a traffic stop. He had been pulled over near First and Front streets in Greenport for failing to signal.
Police say Kozora, who is now a resident of Florida, has a prior DWI conviction.
His car was impounded following this most recent arrest, and police say he is being charged with aggravated DWI, a felony.
Kozora retired from the district in 2009.
