A crash turned into a scary situation for people pumping gas in Middle Island Friday night.

News 12 is told that a crash happened at the intersection of Middle Country Road and Rocky Point Road.

Witnesses say the impact of that crash sent the vehicles into cars that were parked at the gas pumps of the Shell station on the corner.

Three people were hurt, but their identities were not released and there's no word on their current conditions.

The initial cause of the crash is unclear.
