Police say a Brooklyn man is accused of kidnapping his 19-year-old girlfriend in Elmont.

They say 20-year-old Arturo Gurley met his 19-year-old girlfriend Wednesday, took her phone and keys and then proceeded to push her in the trunk of his car and close it.

Officials say the man drove her around for about 45 minutes before walking her inside his apartment, where he shoved a sock in her mouth and duct taped it shut.

They say the girl was in the apartment for about five hours before she was released.
