BROOKLYN -

An NYPD officer from North Baldwin remains in critical condition this morning after he was dragged by a car more than two blocks in Brooklyn.

Police say Officer Dalsh Veve was talking with people inside a stolen car Saturday night in Flatbush  when that car took off.

Officials say Veve was dragged two and a half blocks and fired two shots into the car.

According to police, one suspect was hit and then arrested when he went at the hospital for treatment. A total of three people are now in custody.

Officer Veve's father-in-law tells News 12 Veve lives in North Baldwin with his in-laws, wife and 2-year-old daughter.
