Recipe
Red Wine-Glazed Doughnut
Red Wine Glaze
Ingredients:
•    1 bottle Montepulciano wine
•    1/2 cup sugar
Preparation and Instructions:
Combine wine and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid has reduced down to 1-1/2 cups. Cool for use.
Red Wine-Glazed Doughnut
Ingredients:
•    1 pizza dough (store bought or homemade)
•    1 oz. powdered sugar
•    1 oz. red wine glaze
Preparation and Instructions:
Lightly flatten the pizza dough and cut into 6 triangle pieces. Place into deep fryer until dough is golden brown, about 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Remove from fryer, place in bowl and toss with powdered sugar. Arrange doughnuts on a plate and drizzle the red wine glaze over the doughnuts.
