Thousands of people packed the sand at Jones Beach Sunday for the final day of the Bethpage Air Show, a Memorial Day weekend tradition on Long Island.
The Air Force Thunderbirds headlined the show. The show also featured Sean Tucker, the Army Golden Knights parachute team and the GEICO Skytypers.
Along with the thousands of spectators, there was also a large police presence on the ground and up above to keep everyone safe.

"What we did this year is we increased our police presence. We increased our security screening and we did other things, like bomb detection is a lot more intense," said George Gorman, of New York State Parks & Recreation.
Nearly 130,000 people attended the show on Saturday. Sunday’s total count wasn’t immediately available.
