Police: 1 injured after car crashes, overturns in West Islip

WEST ISLIP -

Police say one person has been hospitalized after a crash that ended with a car on its roof in West Islip.

The incident happened on Montauk Highway and Willets Lane just after midnight.

Officials say it appears the car collided with one other car.

According to officials, one person was taken to the hospital.

It is unclear the extent of the person's injuries or if anyone else was hurt.
