SAG HARBOR -

The push to rebuild the iconic Sag Harbor Cinema now has the support of some of the East End's biggest stars.

Billy Joel has donated money to rebuild the theater after it was damaged in a fire in December.

Newsday also reports that Harvey Weinstein and Martin Scorsese are kicking in donations to help raise the $8 million required for repairs.

The Sag Harbor Partnership is holding a Big Tent Party on July 16 to raise money for the project.
