A Suffolk dad accused of driving drunk with his child in the car will head to court today.

Jose Barrera, 35, of Central Islip, is accused of driving drunk with his young child in the car.

Police arrested Barrera after a minor accident on the Heckscher State Parkway in Great River Monday afternoon.

According to police, Barrera's 3-year-old child suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Barrera is facing several charges including aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law.
