Forecast: Cooler temps, rain possible overnight

EDISON -

New Jersey saw mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures in the upper-50s Tuesday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures are expected to drop Wednesday with some slightly wet conditions.

Windy conditions caused some delays at local airports. Curren says that the windy conditions could continue into Wednesday, so he advises travelers to get to the airport early for Thanksgiving travel.

Tuesday’s overnight hours are expected to see an increase in clouds with temperatures cooling into the 40s. Rain is expected to develop in the early morning hours.

Wednesday should start off rainy with temperatures in the 50s.  The skies are expected to clear later in the day, but temperatures could dip into the 40s.

Thanksgiving should see mainly sunny skies but temperatures are expected to start off in the 20s and 30s. Temperatures should warm slightly into the 40s by the afternoon.
