New Jersey sees dangerously low temps; mostly clear Tuesday

EDISON -

New Jersey saw dangerously cold temperatures to start off the work week.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that parts of the state woke up with temperatures that were several degrees below zero. High temperatures Monday only reached the mid-teens for most of the state. Strong winds made conditions feel even colder.

Monday’s overnight hours should see mostly clear skies with temperatures dropping into the single digits.

Tuesday should see mostly sunny skies with temperatures slightly warmer in the 30s. Temperatures should dip into the 20s overnight.

Wednesday is accepted to be mostly cloudy with periods of rain in the afternoon. Temperatures should warm into the mid-40s.

Curren says that there is also the possibility for snow to return by the weekend.
