EAST PATCHOGUE -

Family and friends attended funeral services Thursday for two of the victims in the Central Islip homicides.

The funeral for Jorge Tigre, 18, was held at St. Joseph the Worker Church in East Patchogue. Tigre was one of four young people beaten and slashed to death last week in a Central Islip park.

Services were also held for Michael Banegas, 18, of Brentwood. Banegas’ family has been trying to raise money through GoFundMe to send his body back to Honduras for burial.

No arrests have been made in what police are calling MS-13 gang slayings.
