Police: 1 man dead after crash on Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway in North Massapequa

NORTH MASSAPEQUA -

Police say one man is dead after a crash on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway in North Massapequa.

The accident happened Wednesday at 11:17 p.m. near exit 5, police say.

According to police, a 23-year-old man, in a Nissan Maxima, was driving southbound when he sideswiped a 24-year-old woman driving a Nissan Altima.

The Maxima then veered off the road and hit a tree. Police have not identified the man.

The woman in the Altima suffered non-life threatening injuries.
