District: General threat put 2 Herricks schools in lockdown
A lockdown in the Herricks school district was lifted Tuesday afternoon following a general threat, according to district officials.
Police received a call around 1 p.m. about a threat made by a student against the middle or high school.
Forty officers were dispatched to both locations where they searched room by room.
The schools were deemed safe. Students were dismissed after 3 p.m.
