Nassau County Executive Mangano gives State of the County address

County Executive Ed Mangano gave his State of the County address at the new Nassau Coliseum Monday.



The county executive touted what he says are his team's accomplishments, which included a drop in crime.



Mangano also pledged to make Nassau County a leader in the emerging field of cyber security.



The heroin epidemic across Long Island was also addressed, with Mangano stating the many different outlets across the island for addicts and families.



He also says he is hopeful that the New York Islanders hockey team will return to Nassau.



Minority Leader of the County Legislature Kevan Abrahams also spoke Monday, giving the Democratic response.



Abrahams is calling for an independent inspector general to look into corruption allegation in Nassau.
