Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony Santino proposes raising age to buy tobacco

Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony Santino is pushing a proposal to raise the age to buy tobacco from 18 to 21.

The Town of North Hempstead raised the age to 21 late last year.

Both Suffolk County and New York City have similar laws.
