LIRR suspends service on Oyster Bay branch

UPDATE: 6:26 PM - The LIRR says service has resumed on the Oyster Bay branch. Original story below.



The Long Island Rail Road says service is suspended on the Oyster Bay Branch due to a tree that fell on the tracks.



The organization says they are ordering buses, but that the service is not confirmed.



The railroad is advising customers to seek alternate modes of transportation.
