Ambulance involved in Westbury crash

An ambulance was involved in a crash in Westbury Saturday afternoon.



Nassau police say the call came in shortly before 2 p.m. about the crash on Stewart Avenue by Carman Avenue.



Photos from the scene showed the ambulance with its front smashed in at a gas station.



Two minor injuries were reported, included the ambulance driver.



No patients were in the ambulance at the time of the accident.



Further details on the crash were not immediately available.
