Organizers: LI’s largest Easter egg hunt held in Jericho

Thousands of little Long Islanders traveled to Jericho on Easter Sunday for what organizers called Long Island's largest Easter egg hunt.

Organizers say that more than 2,000 children participated in the event at the Milleridge Inn.

Children scurried across the field to find colorful Easter egg treasures, including the famous golden egg.

Festivities also included bouncy rides and a petting zoo.

A traditional Easter buffet was also served at the event.
