Nassau workers see millions in raises
Most of Nassau County's full-time nonunion workers can expect raises, according to Newsday.
Newsday says those raises totaled $3.5 million.
Over half of that money is going to employees who work in the District Attorney's office.
Over 500 appointed and elected Nassau officials received at least one raise at some point last year.
In Suffolk County, all full-time nonunion employees received a raise.
