News 12 Long Island has learned that Suffolk County Police Commissioner Tim Sini is reportedly considering a run for Suffolk District Attorney.

According to Newsday, Sini is one of several candidates being vetted for candidacy by the Conservative Party.

Sini's candidacy would be a major reversal, as Sini said he would not run for DA before being confirmed as police commissioner.
