The family of a Bronx man who was found dead in Soundview Park is looking for answers.
The medical examiner says that Kareem Blackledge, of University Heights, had been dead for at least two days when he was found.
According to the family, the medical examiner also told them that it does not appear that he suffered any blunt force trauma.
Police say that they discovered Blackledge's body last Saturday around 1:30 p.m. in Soundview Park.
According to the family, the medical examiner said the cause of death may have been a drug overdose, but they have not officially ruled it yet.
The medical examiner told the family there was also some undigested food in Blackledge's stomach.
EMS pronounced the 26-year-old dead at the scene. Police say they have not made any arrests yet and that they are still investigating the incident.
The medical examiner is trying to figure out the exact cause of death, which can still take more time.
The family says Blackledge went missing on March 10 and his body was not discovered until March 25.
