3 accused in Suffolk car break-ins
Police say three people are accused of stealing from cars while the owners visited graves, went to church or the gym.
Steven Glover, Sierra Green and Inesha Stephen broke into 11 cars at St. Charles Cemetery in East Farmingdale, according to authorities.
Police say they also targeted cars at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bay Shore and broke into vehicles outside seven gyms in Deer Park, Melville, Smithtown, Patchogue and Bay Shore. The robberies happened from the end of November through yesterday.
The three were charged with multiple counts of grand larceny.
Authorities are continuing to investigate if the suspects were involved in other thefts at movie theater and post office parking lots.
