Islanders goalie Jaroslav Halak has been named to the All-Star game.
Halak replaces injured Predators goalie Pekka Rinne.
"It's obviously a big honor to go to the All-Star game. I'm really happy I have a good record as a goalie, but you need the five guys in front of you to do the job, too," Halak told News 12 Long Island.
The Islanders are currently in first place in the Eastern Conference, something for which team captain John Tavares gave credit to Halak.
"He's led the way so many times this year ... a big part of our success," said Tavares, himself an All-Star.
On Tuesday, Halak became the first Islanders goalie to record a shutout at Madison Square Garden since Billy Smith in 1975.
