Police are searching for the person who tried to rob a Farmingdale mosque.
Police say the man was caught in a picture burglarizing the Masjid Bilal Mosque on Saturday.
News 12 Long Island has learned the man got in through an unlocked window and tried to remove two donation boxes that were mounted into a wall.
The man ended up leaving empty handed.
