East Hampton landlord, Donald Torr, sentenced for spying tenants
An East Hampton landlord has been sentenced to five years probation for spying on his tenants.
Donald Torr admitted yesterday to charges of unlawful surveillance and child endangerment.
Police say the 71-year-old installed seven surveillance cameras two summers ago in the bedrooms, bathrooms and hallways of his home on Winterberry Lane in East Hampton.

The cameras were connected to a digital recorder in the basement.
