The Franklin Square Horror in Franklin Square opens for Halloween night only

If you are looking to spend your Halloween at a haunted house this year, why not get a scare for a good cause?

News 12 Long Island visited Joe Alloco's Franklin Square Horror, which opens its doors every Halloween night to raise money for autism and cerebral palsy.

On Halloween night, costumed characters will be stationed throughout the haunted house's dark rooms, waiting to scare unsuspecting visitors. This year's theme is the Dead House!

The haunted house is open to all ages, but might be quite scary for smaller children.

The Franklin Square Horror is located at 1148 Norbay St. in Franklin Square and is only open Oct. 31 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
