David Zimmerly killed while repairing U.S. Postal Service truck in Hicksville
A man was killed while repairing a U.S. Postal Service truck in Hicksville Wednesday morning. Police say David Zimmerly was fixing the truck at the postal service's maintenance facility on Ludy Street.

A man was killed while repairing a U.S. Postal Service truck in Hicksville Wednesday morning.
Police say David Zimmerly was fixing the truck at the postal service's maintenance facility on Ludy Street.
Authorities say another employee didn't see Zimmerly under the truck when he went to go move it and ran him over.
The Lindenhurst man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed.
