A major, new weapon was announced today in the war against heroin.
The Attorneys General of New York and Pennsylvania announced the creation of a "Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Heroin Task Force."
It includes New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
The group will link up law enforcement teams to battle the growing heroin problem.
Additional states are expected to join in coming weeks.
