Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Centereach. Daniel Gutierrez, 24, was killed after being thrown from his bike when he collided with an SUV. The incident happened around 9 p.m.

Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Centereach.
Daniel Gutierrez, 24, was killed after being thrown from his bike when he collided with an SUV.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Rustic Road and Middle Country Road.
The two vehicles were going in opposite directions when the crash happened.
The driver of the car and her three passengers were not seriously hurt.
