A rally against violence was held in Long Beach Thursday night after police arrested a man they say is behind a deadly shooting.
According to police, 22-year-old Antonio Webb, of Long Beach, shot and killed 28-year-old Tyrenzo Brown on Saturday.
Brown was shot at his home on Birch Court in the Chanel Park housing complex next to the Long Beach police station.
Family members say Brown was a father of two children and had another on the way.
Webb pleaded not guilty Thursday to a charge of second-degree murder.
Brown's mother says the men used to be close friends and that she has no idea what went wrong.
Webb's attorney did not return calls to comment. He is being held without bail.
