Police: 9 arrested following 2 heroin busts
Police say there have been two massive heroin busts and nine people, including one Long Islander, are facing charges.
The DEA, NYPD and State Police announced the arrests.
Officials say a Queens trucking company owner and truck driver planned to transport 33 pounds of heroin from California to Hauppague.
Investigators say the truck driver is Jeen Blake, of Selden.
In the second bust, about 22 pounds of heroin was seized in the Bronx.
In total about 55 pounds of the drugs were confiscated, totaling $12 million.
