It may be fall, but Mother Nature is giving Long Islanders another weekend of summer-like weather.
Residents soaked up the sun at Jones Beach State Park Saturday, with temperatures rising to the 80s.
Beach officials ramped up staffing in anticipation of the crowds. More than 100,000 visitors were expected at Long Island's state parks, with 20,000 at Jones Beach alone.
Officials advised against swimming as there were no lifeguards on duty, and pledged to take enforcement action against those that did not heed their warning.
Beach entry fees this weekend are down from $10, to $8.
