Long Island can expect periods of rain, heavy at times, that could cause flooding. The heaviest rain is expected in the morning and will taper off in the afternoon.
Winds are expected to gust up to 35 mph with a high near 67 degrees.
Rain totals will range from 1 to 3 inches with some higher amounts across the area. Minor coastal flooding could also occur.
