A reward is now being offered for information to find whoever drowned a dog in Suffolk.
The Rottweiler mix was found dead in a West Islip canal last week chained to a cement block.
Officials say a necropsy shows the dog was alive when it was thrown into the water.
The SPCA and state Humane Association are offering up to $3,000 for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Suffolk SPCA at 631-382-7722.
