90-year-old Long Islander Earl Fultz starting new business selling cHarissa seasoning and sauce

At age 90, Earl Fultz is just getting started.
The Greenport resident has received a $25,000 prize from Wells Fargo Works for Small Business. He's among five winners from around the country who were chosen out of 3,600 videos and essay entries to start his own business.
Fultz's plan hinges on a tasty seasoning and sauce called cHarissa. His late wife was from Morocco, and during their 50-year marriage, she enjoyed experimenting with flavors from her homeland. Her creations were the driving force behind cHarissa, Fultz says.
According to its website, the seasoning can be used as a rub on meat or fish, or can be sprinkled on top of other dishes, such as pizza. The company also makes a sauce.
