South Shore homeowners gather in Lindenhurst to call for quicker help rebuilding after Superstorm Sandy
South Shore homeowners are calling on federal and state agencies to speed up rebuilding efforts in their towns from Superstorm Sandy.
Long Island residents gathered at Venetian Shores today in Lindenhurst to voice their concerns.
Some residents are still not back in their home two years after Sandy hit, and they say there's too much red tape to get the money they need.
Many place the blame on FEMA, insurance companies and the state agency New York Rising for delays and complications in the process.
