Wage freeze ends for Nassau workers

The wage freeze for thousands of Nassau County workers ended today after three years.  The workers will now receive retroactive pay.  Around 6,000 Nassau police union and County Civil Service employees

Wage freeze ends for Nassau workers
The wage freeze for thousands of Nassau County workers ended today after three years. 
The workers will now receive retroactive pay. 
Around 6,000 Nassau police union and County Civil Service employees will get over $5 million in retroactive raises. 
Nassau County correction officers will get their salary hikes in October.
