Animal rescue officers searching for suspect who shot cat with arrow

The Suffolk County SPCA is searching for a suspect who shot an area stray cat with an arrow.

The cat is nicknamed Diablo and described as tough by Lorene Black, who feeds the colony of cats living in the Bohemia industrial village. Diablo was last seen running away from officials into the woods and has yet to be treated.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information about the shooter, and those with info are asked to call 631-382-SPCA. All callers will remain anonymous.
