Neighbors in Old Westbury stunned by violent home invasion

Residents in the affluent neighborhood of Old Westbury were stunned and concerned by the news of the latest home invasion that took place.

Police say two masked men held a housekeeper hostage Tuesday as they robbed a mansion on Polo Drive. Police believe the suspects were watching the house and thought no one was home, since the residents had just left. The robbers shut the housekeeper in the pantry and left with jewelry.

Other housekeepers on the block say they will take precautions, such as leaving the alarm on while they are in the house.
