Bethpage H.S. teacher returns to the classroom after serving in Iraq

A Bethpage High School social studies teacher has quite a lesson for his students after serving nearly a year with the Army National Guard in Baghdad. Robert Verdi, who joined the Army after September 11, returned from his post at Abu Ghraib Prison on December 1. Verdi was first assigned to the prisons property and evidence section, and then worked as a guard with detainees. Verdi says he is glad to be home and back in the classroom.
