East Meadow man accused of ripping off his mom's housecleaning clients

A 20-year-old East Meadow man is accused of ripping off his mother's housecleaning clients.

Nassau cops say Carlos Jimenez went with his mom to the homes she cleaned and left with the homeowners cash and jewelry. Homeowner Karen McCarthy had a camera installed in her home after she grew suspicious of Jimenez.

Jimenez was arraigned Thursday on grand larceny charges. He pleaded not guilty and was released without bail. Two other neighbors have filed similar charges against the suspect.
