Long Islanders look for extra tax write-offs as 2005 draws to a close

Long Islanders packed a Goodwill center in East Northport Friday looking for extra tax write-offs before 2005 officially ends.

Experts recommend keeping a tight watch on earnings throughout the year to make sure enough money is provided for the tax payments. Online contributions to charities may be made up until midnight Saturday. Related Link: Just Give
