A Freeport man is facing manslaughter and DWI charges Monday for a fatal crash in West Hempstead.According to police, 34-year-old Gary Morris was headed eastbound on Hempstead Turnpike Sunday when he crossed a double yellow line. His car smashed into a westbound car with two people inside. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Winthrop Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
