Freeport man gets 23 years to life for murder of Lynbrook resident

A man involved in the murder of a Lynbrook dad walking home from the train station was sentenced Monday to 23 years to life.Omar Delarosa, 19, of Freeport, was part of a group of five who robbed, stabbed and shot Anthony Battaglia in September 2003.

Convicted triggerman Nelson Zuniga received 70 years to life at his sentencing last week.
