Police discover disturbing scene at Westbury home of missing NUMC doctor

A doctor at Nassau University Medical Center is missing and police have uncovered a disturbing scene inside his Westbury home. Joseph Kazigo, 67, an emergency room surgeon, has not been seen since he left work on Wednesday morning. Alarmed coworkers called police Thursday when he didn?t show up for work. Police say when they arrived at the doctor?s Pleasant Avenue apartment, they found signs of foul play, including broken glass and forced entry. An investigation in underway.
