Brookhaven swears in Democratic town supervisor for first time in 30 years
The Town of Brookhaven is getting ready for big changes with a new town supervisor Monday.
Brian Foley was sworn in as the first Democratic town supervisor in Brookhaven in 30 years. During his campaign, Foley promised to clean up the town, which has been plagued with political corruption scandals.
Some residents feel Foley will be able to take on the task of fixing the town. Foley?s inauguration was held in Patchogue.
