Racially biased graffiti spray-painted on North Valley Stream home

Racist graffiti was founded painted on a North Valley Stream home Monday. Lee Burke and her husband arrived at their Francis Drive home to find words of hate spray-painted on their house. The Burkes closed on their home just two weeks ago and some neighbors in the area apologized for such a rude greeting. Others say the attack is not representative of the people who live along the street. Nassau police, however, say this isn't the only time there's been bias vandalism on Francis Drive. In the last three years, there have been at least two other incidents. Police want anyone who might have information about the crime to call Nassau Crimestoppers at 1-800-244 TIPS.
