Suffolk Executive Levy prepares for State of the County address

(01/23/06) HAUPPAUGE ? Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy has several messages he wants to relay to residents during his State of the County address Tuesday.

Levy says addressing the issue of affordability in Suffolk County is at the top of his agenda. According to Levy, several measures will be implemented in order to keep the cost of living down in the county. Some of these measures include buying in bulk with other levels of government and sharing maintenance agreements.

The issue of undocumented workers continues to be a hot-button topic for the Levy administration. Levy says he will continue to crack down on overcrowded homes by enforcing zoning laws.
