Garden City H.S. prom back on but with strict regulations in place

School officials have decided not to cancel the Garden City High School prom, but students and parents are upset with the strict regulations put in place.

School officials say there will be no limos allowed at the dance. Parents will have to drop off their children at school and they will then be bused to the Garden City Hotel for the prom. Students? bags will be checked at the door, where they will also be screened for drugs and alcohol.

Students and their parents are annoyed by these changes. Students spoke out saying that this is a violation of their privacy. However, school officials says if students are caught violating the new policy they will be sent home.
